[FRA-10] NOSD High latency and packet loss

Dear customer,

We are experiencing high latency and packet loss from FRA-10 to AMS, LSW DCs globally, and some external destinations due to issues with RETN.

We are currently working with RETN on investigating the cause of this issue and bringing the services back to normal. We will update you again once we have more information.

[UPDATE 19:24] Packet loss and increased latency have been resolved.

[DE, FRA-10] Connectivity issues in part of our network

We are currently experiencing network connectivity issues in FRA-10 datacenter. The issue is affecting TCP traffic drops. Our engineers are currently investigating the root cause and will provide an update once more information becomes available.

[FRA-10] Network Connectivity Issues

Time: October 13, 2021 15:16 UTC

We have experienced temporary network connectivity issues towards one of our internet transit providers in the FRA-10 data center, due to the simultaneous unavailability of multiple links. You could have experienced increased latency and packet loss to some destinations today, the 13th of October on the time frame between 14:40 and 17:04 CEST (UTC+2).

Traffic engineering actions were performed to resolve the congestion causing the latency/packet loss and the problematic multiple internet transit links were restored shortly afterwards.

Frankfurt [FRA-10] Network Connectivity Issues

We have experienced temporary network connectivity issues towards one of our internet transit providers in the FRA-10 data center, due to the simultaneous unavailability of multiple links.

You could have experienced increased latency and packet loss to some destinations today, the 13th of October on the time frame between 01:23 and 02:10 CEST (UTC+2).

Traffic engineering actions were performed to resolve the congestion causing the latency/packet loss and the problematic multiple internet transit links were restored shortly afterwards.

Today, at approximately 12:45 CEST (UTC+02:00), we were alerted by our monitoring systems about connectivity issues in our FRA-10 facility.

It appears to be related to a power outage following today’s scheduled power maintenance (non impacting).

This power outage might result in unavailability of your services.

Our data center engineers are on-site to investigate the cause of this issue with the highest priority.

We will update you again as soon as we have more information available.

Leaseweb network Connectivity Issues (LON-AMS-FRA)

We have earlier experienced connectivity issues in part of our network between 21:00-21:40 UTC. Connectivity between London-Amsterdam-Frankfurt was affected due carrier maintenance. The connectivity issues have now been resolved.

[RESOLVED] [DE,FRA-10] High latency and packet loss

UPDATE, March 15, 2021, 02:01 CET (UTC+01:00):

The faulty line card has been replaced at 00:52 CET (UTC+01:00) and the services were restored at 02:00 CET (UTC+01:00). You might experienced high latency and packet loss during this time. One of the ISP Xtra Telecom is still facing issues and the team is working to restore service. Leaseweb should not be effected any further.

If you experienced any issues beyond this point please let us know and we will have our team investigate it.

We are experiencing high latency and packet loss due to operations issue with a node for DE-CIX FRA. The issue started on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 15:00 CET ( UTC+01:00).
The team is still investigating the root cause for the control plane issues and if they are related to the hardware.

[DE,FRA-10] High latency and packet loss

We are experiencing high latency and packet loss due to operations issue with a node for DE-CIX FRA. The issue started at 15:00 CET ( UTC+01:00).The team is still  investigating the root cause for the control plane issues and if they are related to the hardware.

Latest update
The effected  ISP include Vodafone, EUnetworks , GTT to name a few.

Currently the DECIX team is replacing a faulty line card. We will update the once the issue is resolved and the services are back.
