[Global] Information regarding the Intel L1TF speculative vulnerability

Dear Leaseweb customer,

Leaseweb is aware of, and currently tracking, the recently disclosed “speculative execution” vulnerability known as the L1 Terminal Fault (L1TF), that is present on modern Intel processors.

If you are a dedicated server customer, please make sure that your operating system and Intel microcode are updated to the latest versions.
For Cloud and Web hosting customers we are currently assessing our infrastructure and will take all necessary actions to mitigate these vulnerabilities at the earliest opportunity.

[US, NYC-11] Connectivity issues in part of our network [Update]

At this moment we are experiencing network issues in our NYC-11 data center.

Our engineers are working on this issue with the highest priority.
Please be assured that we will do our utmost to get the service working normally again.

The connectivity issue was a result of memory issues with our cluster of switches.

To mitigate it, the impacted devices were restarted. No issues were present after that.

We are closely monitoring the devices and we will further investigate what was the cause of that memory issue.

[US, SFO-12] Emergency maintenance: Network maintenance on our core network [Update]

As part of our commitment to continually improve the level of service Leaseweb provides, we want to inform you about the upcoming maintenance on our network infrastructure.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT
On the 8th of August 2018, between 13:00 and 17:00 UTC, we will be performing software upgrades on our customer edge routers in San Fransisco, SFO-12 location. During this maintenance the network connection might experience a short interruption to your services.

[NL, AMS-01] Connectivity issues in part of our network [Update]

The connectivity issue was as a result of BGP process failure on one of our distribution routers.

The issue has now been resolved and connectivity is restored.
