[NL, DE] LeaseWeb IP range blacklisted by UCEprotect [Update]
Time: May 13, 2014 18:17:00 (CEST)
Dear LeaseWeb Customer,
LeaseWeb learned today that it's network has been added to the UCEprotect blacklist. This means organisations using UCEprotect as part of their spamfilter will block email sent from a LeaseWeb IP-address, even if your IP-address or IP-range has never sent spam in the past.
Unfortunately we were not notified about the listing by the blacklist owner however we have already taken proactive measures to eliminate the source of this listing and we are currently working very hard to get the listing issue resolved permanently.
LeaseWeb has a well known zero tolerance policy for spammers within it's network. We are committed to the eradication of spam and 'badware' from the internet. For this we have established our 'Community Outreach Program', of which a multitude of blacklist are part.
We take your trust in us very seriously. The abuse handling team is working very hard to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience and we will continue to update our NOC page as we have any further updates.
If you need further information, please open a ticket via the LeaseWeb Self Service Center, or contact us at [email protected].
[Update]
The UCEProtect website shows that our AS has been delisted from their blacklist. This means that email from LeaseWeb IP addresses is no longer blocked by those who use the UCEProtect blacklist to filter spam.
We are still trying to reach out to UCEProtect, to prevent this from happening in the future.
