EvoSwitch Hall2 power outage [update]

At the moment we are experiencing a partial power outage in EvoSwitch Hall 2, currently the issue is under investigation by EvoSwitch.

We are doing our utmost to solve this issue a.s.a.p.

Dear Customer,

This morning at 0612 hrs we experienced a major power outage on our mains. The gensets and UPS’s took over the power supply to the majority of our data centre. However due to reasons, currently under investigation, the power to a part of data hall 2 was not provided.

All power to the data centre has been restored as of 0655 hrs. However, the power to data hall 2 was restored at 0725 hrs.

Engineers have checked each rack to power on devices that were down. If you still experience your server is down, please inform support by sending an email to [email protected]

Our Grid provider Liander has confirmed that the cause of the power disruption was a power failure in the 150KV part of their network.

This outage caused an unexpected behavior in our emergency power supply.

We are currently finishing our investigation to find the root cause. A first RFO report will be provided before 15:00 hrs.

As said before all power to the data centre has been restored.

Geen maandelijkse test noodstroomvoorziening BIT-1

stroomtest BIT-1
Wegens verbouwingswerkzaamheden in datacenter BIT-1 zal er deze maand geen test van de noodstroomvoorziening worden uitgevoerd. De laatste test vorige maand is zonder problemen verlopen.
Wij benadrukken dat het annuleren van deze test geen gevolgen heeft voor de beschikbaarheid van de (nood) stroomvoorziening.

Onderhoud ADSL (internet en vast bellen), Stadskanaal, Groningen en Veendam

In de nacht van dinsdag 03-05-2011 op woensdag 04-05-2011 vinden er tussen 23:59 en 06:00 uur onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan het ADSL-netwerk (internet) plaats in:

– Stadskanaal-Centrum
– Groningen-Centrum
– Groningen-Zuid
– Veendam

De internetverbinding kan tijdens de werkzaamheden enkele malen onderbroken worden. Ook kunt u gedurende een dergelijke geen gebruik maken van vast bellen en dus ook het alarmnummer 112 niet bereiken.
