Aanpassingen UPS-sets BIT-2B

Op donderdag 12 augustus a.s. zal onze leverancier tussen 0.00 en 4.00
uur een aantal wijzigingen maken aan de configuratie van de UPS-sets van
BIT-2B.

De leverancier van de UPS-sets zal één voor één UPS-set voor de A- en de
B-feed aanpassen. Mocht tijdens dit onderhoud de feed van de betreffende
UPS-set onderbroken worden, wat wij niet verwachten, dan is de andere
feed normaal beschikbaar. We raden u nogmaals aan om goed te controleren
of al uw apparatuur beide feeds aangesloten is.

[UPDATE 18:00]
We discovered the probable reason of the troubles we had with Easynet hall 2A. One of our engineers was making a change on routers which normally should have no impact at all, but at the very same moment one of our Easynet customers was hit by a dos attack. Because of high cpu load of one of the routers, the changes were not applied correctly and some of them ‘stuck’. Shortly after that all the config was reverted to the previous state.

Duration: approx. 20 minutes downtime
Reason : Move servers

Dear customer,

We have to perform a move of one of our customer DNS cashing servers nscache3.leaseweb.net (62.212.65.123). During the move the DNS service will be unavailable from this server. After the move the server will be available on the same ipaddress.

If your system is using nscache3 as a primary server you can use an alternate dns server to prevent any distortion.

[ opgelost ] ADSL van KPN / XS4ALL Only / BusinessDSL storing Geldermalsen

Als gevolg van een storing kunnen klanten met een ADSL van KPN, XS4ALL
Only en Business DSL verbinding in Geldermalsen momenteel geen
verbinding maken of problemen ondervinden met de ADSL/BDSL verbinding.
