[NL] Issues on Cloud platform [Update]

The issues are resolved and the platform stability is restored.

In case your VPS is in an unstable state we advise to restart it using the SSC console feature.

We are currently experiencing problems with one of our cloud platforms in the Netherlands. Affected customers are those running on the Resource Pool powered by Apache CloudStack and customers running Virtual Servers delivered after 14-01-2014.

The problem is currently under investigation, and we are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Status updates and progress regarding this matter will be announced here.

Storing cloudplatforms (opgelost)

Omschrijving: Op dit moment ervaren we problemen op ons cloudplatform. Virtuele servers kunnen hierdoor niet beschikbaar zijn.
Impact op: VDC Express, VDC Premium, Express Cloudservers, Premium cloudservers
Actie: Momenteel zijn onze engineers hard aan het werk om de storing te onderzoeken en te verhelpen.
Update: [12 maart – 11:46 uur]

De oorzaak van de storing is gevonden en verholpen. Bij nader onderzoek is echter gebleken dat Express varianten van onze clouddiensten geen impact hebben gehad.

[US] Cloud issues [Update]

The platform is back online, and most of the Cloud Server instances are now running as well. We are working with a very small amount of customers on a few instances that are having issues resulting from the outage.
If you are one of these customers, you will receive an update via email. During the coming days we will be monitoring the platform closely, along with our storage vendor.
In case of any issues, if you have any questions, or have an instance that is not starting correctly, please open a ticket with our support department.

We have continued to work on the Cloud Server instances, and are now in the process of restarting them.
After this has been completed, we will re-enable control of your Cloud Server via the Self Service Center.

All Virtual Server instances are now running, and controlling your instance via the Self Service Center is possible again. The LeaseWeb Cloud servers are not yet functioning correctly. We are now working along with our storage vendor to fix this, but expect this to take a number of hours. During this time our engineers are continuing to work on your instances to get them back online.

We have restored all of the Virtual Server instances back to working order. We are still working on fixing the issues on the Cloud Server platform.
Due to these issues your Cloud Server might be unavailable. We are working on restoring these to working order as soon as possible.

Note that controlling your instance via the Self Service Center is not possible yet, while we are working on the platform.

The issues are storage related. You may not be able to view the status in the Self Service Center or restart your VPS.
Engineers are investigating the issue at this moment. We are doing our utmost to solve this issue as soon as possible. No estimate time given.

We are now experiencing issues with our Cloud platform in the US.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. Once we have more information we will update you.

Upgrade management software Aurora Cloud

Tonight we will apply various software updates to the management system behind Aurora Cloud. After the upgrade, serveral new features will be available.

Customers using Aurora cloud have been informed by email about this maintenance.

During the maintenance it is not possible to manage your virtual machine(s) trough the management interface nor API. Your virtual machines will remain online during the maintenance.

On Thursday January 30th 2014 at 0:00 PCextreme will be performing maintenance on one of the core switches of our Aurora cloud platform.

Due to the redundancy of the core switches we do not expect any downtime, you may however experience some short interruptions.

All affected LeaseWeb Cloud customers will be informed separately by e-mail about the maintenance. If you did not receive an e-mail, your Cloud instance(s) are not affected.

LeaseWeb has to upgrade and expand the storage system which is used by your hosted platform at LeaseWeb. Please read below mentioned carefully to avoid any kind of miscommunication, data loss and/or data corruption. The maintenance is to assure the continuity of our services to you with an up-to-date platform in prevention of possible disruptions. This maintenance will not require activities of the customer and should not impact availability of the platform.

We do not expect any downtime unless an unforeseen event occurs.

Customer activities:
– Ensure all backup jobs are finished before the announced date and time
– Subscribe and/or check our NOC page for available progress updates

LeaseWeb activities:
– Start with the maintenance at 11.30AM CET | January 30th 2014.
– Expected duration is 4 hours
