We are going to upgrade the software on our core router at Evoswitch in Haarlem.

We will reroute our traffic to the core router at Telecity2 during the maintenance. No impact is expected, it is possible though that the network paths will change resulting in temporary higher latency.



The maintenance will take place between 5:00 and 7:30 CEST (UTC+2) on the 5th of April 2011.

[UPDATE 14:31] One of our customers created a loop which caused high cpu on 2 of our routers. We are still investigating.
[UPDATE 17:30] The cause of the loop has been found and has been resolved.

We anticipate that this work will take no more than 15 minutes to complete, and will commence at 10:00 am CET . At the very worst case, this work should be totally completed by 1 hour.

During this maintenance, your server has to be powered off. Please shutdown your server a few minutes before the indicated start time. Leaseweb will power your server on after the maintenance. If your server is still powered, Leaseweb shall power it off.

The software upgrade of our core router at Telecity-2 this morning has introduced an issue with the CPU load on the router.

During this maintenance window we will restart software processes to try and resolve the problem.



If we are not able to resolve the issue with these actions we will upgrade to a different release of Junos.



These steps will incur two or three 5 minute interruptions of routing traffic.

The traffic will be rerouted through or other core router located at Evoswitch.
