Evoswitch 10GE swtich maintenance [Update]

We have lost power on our equipment at NIKHEF.
We are investigating if it is a general power faillure or just our rack.

We have received confirmation that there is an overall power outage at NIKHEF.

We are trying to reroute as much traffic as possible, some destinations will notice packetloss.

We have an engineer on site, there is no power in any rack.
We have not yet received an ETR from the datacenter operator.

[UPDATE 23:08]
According to our engineer on site the power is about to be restored. To ensure there will be no overload, power to racks will be restored in phases.

All our equipment at NIKHEF is up again.
It may take a short while before traffic has fully resumed.

We have received an initial cause of the outage from the DC operator management:

Subject: Message from NIKHEF technical management.

At about 21;15 the UPS at NIKHEF malfunctioned resulting in a power loss affecting all cabinets. The defaulting circuit was bypassed, so that the power was restored at 23:10. An analysis of the failure will be carried out.
