[NL, DE, US] Connectivity issues on part of our transatlic network [Update]

Time: April 26, 2014 16:00:00 (CEST)
Dear LeaseWeb Customer,

We are experiencing instability issues between our US and NL/DE data-centers due to a transatlantic fiber-cut from one of our carrier. This may cause packet-loss and/or higher latency to/from specific networks.

We have contacted our carrier and they are sending field-engineers to investigate and fix the issue.
We have also re-routed our traffic to minimize any problems.

We will update you once we have more information. If you notice any issues, please open a ticket via the LeaseWeb Self Service Center, or contact us directly at [email protected].

Final Update: The fiber maintainers have advised that splicing has been completed. We are seeing our link up since 9:31 GMT. 27-04-2014

[NL, AMS-01] Connectivity issues in part of our network [Update]

Time: April 8, 2014 07:02:00 (CEST)
Dear Customer,

We have experienced an issue in a part of our network.
The issue has been solved already by reloading to the redundant routing processor.

Currently we are still investigating the cause and will consult with our vendor.

There was no complete outage, as the redundant router took over, however customers might have experienced higher latency and small drops during re-convergence.

Affected ranges:
5.79.64.0/20
37.48.64.0/19
95.211.208.0/24
2001:1AF8:4700::/40
37.49.224.0/24
178.18.31.0/24
185.28.68.0/24
185.30.232.0/22
212.7.213.0/24

[UPDATE] To prevent any further issues we have to replace a hardware component. We will perform this replacement tomorrow morning 09-04-2014 at 06:30. Before the replacement we will reroute all traffic to the redundant router, to have minimal impact. However during traffic rerouting and re-convergence customers might experience small packet loss and higher latency.

Maintenance window:
Start 09-04-2014 06:30 CEST
End 09-04-2014 07:30 CEST
