100G AMS-IX optic swap @ Evoswitch

As part of our commitment to continually improve the level of service you receive from LeaseWeb we are undertaking this emergency maintenance.

Recently (2013-06-14) there was an issue with the core routers of the high volume network in the Netherlands, EvoSwitch. During this maintenance we will replace hardware of the core routers which is suspected by our vendor to be causing the issue we had.

[UPDATE 07:46] We have replaced the faulty equipment and all issues have been solved, we have switched back from the workaround solution to the normal setup.

[20130619] EvoSwitch emergency high volume router maintenance [Update]

Dear Customer,

As part of our commitment to continually improve the level of service you receive from LeaseWeb we are undertaking this emergency maintenance.

We have had issues with one of our routers and we have planned a maintenance to upgrade its software within next two weeks (not announced yet), but because of last problems with routing-processor of that router (about an hour ago) we decided to perform an emergency maintenance this night.

We will do a software upgrade which will require two consecutive reboots of the router. You can expect twice about 20 minutes downtime within the maintenance window: 05:30-06:30 CEST (UTC+2) on 19th of June 2013.
We will be upgrading to an advised by vendor software version with all recommended updates.

First reboot went smooth, we are preparing the second one. We have overestimated the downtime, it seems to be just 10 minutes per reboot. Next updates will follow soon.

We are having difficulties with the second reboot, we are prolonging this maintenance window till 7:00 CEST (UTC+2).

Second and last reboot is in progress. We are sorry we had to extend this maintenance window.

The router is back up, doing traffic. The maintenance is now finished.

[Webhosting] connectivity issue due to DDoS [Update]

At the moment we experience some troubles in (part of) Webhosting service. Due to a dDOS attack, websites hosted on the affected ranges are currently unavailable. We are doing our utmost to solve this issue a.s.a.p. As soon as we have more information available, we will publish it here.

Please be patient while we are working on this problem.

We successfully blocked the attack and all website are responsive again.

[webhosting] Plesk pannel issues [Update]

One of our carriers, France Telecom/OpenTransit has currently an outage of their network which may result in unavailability of your services in France Telecom or Polish Telecom networks. We have tried to reroute traffic onto other carriers, but it didn't help. We will keep you updated.

We have found a workaround that does work. Please notice you may experience higher than usually latency or packet loss to French and Polish Telecom networks and their customers.
