As part of our commitment to continually improve the level of service you receive from LeaseWeb we are undertaking this emergency maintenance.

Recently (2013-06-14) there was an issue with the core routers of the high volume network in the Netherlands, EvoSwitch. During this maintenance we will replace hardware of the core routers which is suspected by our vendor to be causing the issue we had.

[20130619] EvoSwitch emergency high volume router maintenance

Dear Customer,

As part of our commitment to continually improve the level of service you receive from LeaseWeb we are undertaking this emergency maintenance.

We have had issues with one of our routers and we have planned a maintenance to upgrade its software within next two weeks (not announced yet), but because of last problems with routing-processor of that router (about an hour ago) we decided to perform an emergency maintenance this night.

We will do a software upgrade which will require two consecutive reboots of the router. You can expect twice about 20 minutes downtime within the maintenance window: 05:30-06:30 CEST (UTC+2) on 19th of June 2013.
We will be upgrading to an advised by vendor software version with all recommended updates.

[20130618] High volume issues Netherlands, EvoSwitch [Update]

At the moment we are having issues with one of our high volume core routers. The symptoms are packet-loss and low speeds. We are looking into the issues what is causing it. Affected prefixes are listed below:

We have switched from routing processors. This resolved the issues and the traffic returned back to normal. We are now looking what caused the issue and a permanent fix. One of our High Volume Core router line-cards rebooted due crash. The Line-card is back up again and all connects should be working again.
We will be planning a software upgrade maintenance within a week to tackle this issue.

[Leaseweb NL] High Volume connectivity issue due to DDoS [Update]

We experienced hight latency and small packet loss for a short period of time due to a DDoS attack on part of our High Volume Network.
The attack is over and traffic has been restored to it's normal levels.

[Emergency maintenance] SSC/CIS reinstall environment reboot [update]

Dear Customer,

Today at 15:25 CEST we will perform a reboot of nodes in our central server installation platform.

During the announced timeframe there will be a short interruption for server reinstallations launched from the Self Service Centre and CIS.

This maintenance only affects Self Service Centre and CIS reinstallations in the Netherlands. Reinstallations for Germany and the United States of America are not affected by this maintenance.

Update: The nodes are restarted successfully. All services are back online.

The network core routers for this part of the network have a issue, we are trouble shooting the problem by reloading the software.

We have submitted logging report to our Vendor on the router crash, we are still waiting on our Vendor for a fix on this bug.

[Update 03: 19:20 14-06-2013]
Our vendor received all logging from the devices, and is currently investigating internally. There is a stable workaround in place. But the core issue is not yet solved, we will maintain to update on this page.
