[RESCHEDULED] AMS-IX connection maintenance [Update]

Dear customer,

We will perform the maintenance on our AMS-IX connections from the datacenter EvoSwitch in Haarlem. We will upgrade this circuit to higher capacities to allow the network growth in upcoming months.

Our second AMS-IX connection at Telecity 2 in Amsterdam will be fully operational during the maintenance and will be able to take over the whole traffic. There should only be very short interruptions while alternate routing paths are chosen in the beginning and in the end of the maintenance.

The maintenance will take place between 5:30 and 7:30 CEST (UTC+2) on the 28th of August 2012. We have planned the maintenance window for 2 hours, however the actual issues should not exceed half an hour.

The maintenance will affect (by providing temporary alternate routing paths) the whole LeaseWeb network.

Our datacenter provider Evoswitch has announced an cooling systems maintenance.

Description:
Dear customer,

For Tuesday 21st of August, we have scheduled a maintenance involving the cooling system in datahall 2.

We will closely monitor the temperatures in the datahall and take precautions, to assure that the cooling stays within the boundaries of the SLA.

In case of reaching the limits of the SLA, we will break off the maintenance and restore the cooling system.

We will not perform maintenance in any other part of the datacenter.

Leaseweb Germany network issue [Update]

At the moment we experience problems on our German network. We are currently investigating and taking appropriate steps.

We isolated the issue to one router in Frankfurt and one in Wuppertal. We are trying to restore connectivity as soon as possible.

Update @ 05:00

The router in Frankfurt is back online and connectivity restored. Some customers in Wuppertal still have connectivity issues. We will address them shortly.

As part of our commitment to continually improve the level of service you receive from LeaseWeb we are undertaking this maintenance.

During this maintenance we will upgrade the software on one of our high volume core routers in EvoSwitch. We will also replace a suspected linecard as advised by our vendor. We've experienced issues before when doing this upgrade, therefore we have planned a maintenance window of 3 hours. During this maintenance we have our vendor standby to assist us.
