[US] Degradation of storage performance on US cloud platform [Update]

Dear Customer,

[UPDATE]
We have replaced a failed disk, system is now rebuilding the replaced disk.
This can give some performance impact as the rebuild is ongoing.
We try to mimimize the impact on the platform.

We are experiencing some degradation in performance on the USA Cloud storage infrastructure.
We are currently looking into what causes this issue.

[US] Temporarely degradation of performance on US cloud platform [Update]

We have found the root cause of the performance impact. We applied changes in the storage configuration so backend processes are more balanced in using resources.

The platform load is stable for the last 1,5 hours and we keep monitoring it closely for the next hours.

We are still experience the same issue. We found the process that is causing the problem and we are working on finding a solution to overcome the issue with specialists of our storage vendor.

We like to update you on the situation. Over the last hour we gained control over the performance, but since 10 minutes the load is increasing again.

please do not try to reboot your instance or attempt dd speed test since this is intervening with our troubleshooting at the moment.

We experienced a degradation in performance on the USA Cloud storage infrastructure. We managed to restore the performance and are currently looking into what caused this issue.

Performance should be on normal operation speed at this moment.

Omschrijving: Er zijn problemen met de storage van Cloud Backup. Dit heeft impact op een deel van het Cloud backup platform.
Impact op: Cloud Backup
Actie: Het probleem is in onderzoek.

De storing is veroorzaakt door een hardware matig defect. De problemen zijn inmiddels verholpen.

The incoming DDoS has been stopped, and the platform is stable again. If you have issues with your VM, please stop and start the VM first.

We are experiencing high latency and packet loss due to an incoming DDoS on the LeaseWeb Cloud

Affected customers are those running on the Resource Pool and LeaseWeb Virtual Servers powered by Apache CloudStack.

We are currently investigating the cause of this issue.

Gedeeltelijke storing Aurora Cloud services (opgelost)

Due to an issue on one of the underlying storage platform, a part of the Aurora services are currently unavailable.

Our technicians are currently working on a solution.

Service has been resumed on the mentioned storage platform. Virtual machines affected by this outage will be started in the upcoming minutes.

Restarting the virtual machines has unexpectedly been delayed. We are working to make further progress.

Unfortunately later then we had wished for the affected virtual machines are slowly being started at this moment. We will monitor this process closely.

About 50% of the machines has been restarted at this point. The remaining vm’s will probably be running again in the upcoming half hour.

We are currently experiencing an outage on a part of our VMware-based Express Cloud in the Netherlands. Affected instances are being restarted. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
