We located the problem is related to a storage node. We currently starting to replace this hardware. ETA is about 60 minutes.

[UPDATE 15:25]

The storage node has been replaced, and all services are operational.

For some linux VPS an extra reboot might be required if filesystem is mounted as read-only.

Everything has been restored and is online. If you have issues, please turn on your VPS trough SSC and if that doesn’t works, please contact support

Due to large bootstorm from our customers, it can take a while before your server is powered-on. Also customers that were not affected by this outage might experience lower performance until situation is stabilized.

Please don’t try to power-on/power-off your VPS continuously, as it only delays boot time.

[UPDATE]

All problems are resolved since Friday night. If you still experience problems first try to reboot your VPS. If this is doesn’t solve your problem please send an email to [email protected] so we can help you solving any problems caused by this outage.

We have to reboot some of the cluster nodes so your VPS may be rebooted.

during todays storage performance issues we have identified problems on some disk shelves. These shelves are used for hosting your Express VPS. To solve the problems, we need to schedule an emergency maintenance window.

The emergency maintenance window will be from 20h00 CET to March 5th 08h00 CET. During this window we will shutdown all VPS and relocate the VPS. We will do our utmost best to limit the downtime customer experience. This maintenance is needed to prevent future issues which could cause even bigger issues than the performance issue we are facing at this moment.

At this moment we are migrating customers. Some are already back online. We are trying our best to get everybody back online as soon as possible, however we probably will not make it before 08h00 due to the issues with the storage performance. It is unfortunately not possible to stop at this stage.

We therefor need to extend the emergency maintenance window.

[update 11h00]

We are finalizing maintenance. We were not able to complete the maintenance fully but were able to finish as much as possible. In the next 60minutes the last migrations will be finished and all Express VPS should be running again.
