[Planned Maintenance] Express Cloud platform

Dear Customers,

On Friday 20th of April between 10:00 and 13:00 CEST we are going to perform a planned hardware maintenance on LeaseWeb Express Cloud platform. Actions that will be performed during this maintenance will be following:

– Place host in maintenance mode
– Migrate virtual machines to different host
– Upgrade memory
– Enable host again in the cluster

This will be done for all available hosts in our new Express Cloud platform.
The LeaseWeb Express Cloud platform is redundant so we do not expect any downtime or performance degradation during this maintenance.

Platforms affected:

– Express Cloud (Only for orders done after 19th of March)

On Saturday April 21st between 21:00 and 23:00 CET, planned maintenance of the Self Service Center and other internal systems will take place. During this time frame the Self Service Center will not be accessible.
Any orders placed through the LeaseWeb website will experience a delay in delivery.

Evoswitch core router upgrade [Update]

Dear customer,

We will perform the maintenance on the core router at EvoSwitch. We will upgrade the software in order to fix a few bugs.

Our second core router at Telecity 2 in Amsterdam will be fully operational during the maintenance and will be able to take over the whole traffic. There should only be very short interruptions while alternate routing paths are chosen in the beginning and in the end of the maintenance.

The maintenance will take place between 5:00 and 7:00 CEST (UTC+2) on the 19th of April 2012. We have planned the maintenance window for 2 hours, however the actual downtime of the router should not exceed half an hour.

The maintenance will affect (by providing temporary alternate routing paths) the whole LeaseWeb network.

[20120419] Emergency fiber maintenance NL [Update]

Dear customer,

One of our dark fiber suppliers in The Netherlands has announced a maintenance on several dark fiber paths. During this maintenance we will reroute traffic to different links.

No customer impact is expected, however you may see short latency increase or small packet loss during path switching.

The maintenance will take place on the 19th of April between 02:00AM and 08:00AM.

The timezone for given timeframe is CEST.

Technical difficulties during SSC maintenance

Dear Customer,

On Tuesday April 17th between 00:00 and 07:00 CET we had a planned maintenance of the Self Service Center and other internal systems.
Due to technical difficulties the maintenance was postponed. This means that the Self Service Center and the API are still reachable from the old IP 83.149.80.138 and no changes are done on these systems.

Please do consider that the change will still take place within the next few weeks.
We will update you with the schedule information in a few days.

On Tuesday April 17th between 00:00 and 07:00 CET, planned maintenance of the Self Service Center and other internal systems will take place. During this time frame the Self Service Center will not be accessible.

The IP of the Self Service Center will be changed as a result of the maintenance.
The new IP of the Self Service Center will be 95.211.66.199.
The URL will stay the same. Please update your systems accordingly.

[Planned Maintenance] Storage platform [Update]

On Thursday 12th of April between 18:30 and 19:30 CEST we are going to perform a planned power maintenance on LeaseWeb storage platform. Actions that will be performed during this maintenance will be following:

– disconnect powerfeed
– reconnect powerfeed

The LeaseWeb storage platform has redundant power supplies, we do not expect any issues during this maintenance. Platforms affected:

– Premium Cloud
– Private clouds
– Customers who are using LeaseWeb storage platform

Storage platform is back online. We are now starting the VPS's again. This will cause temporarily a higher load than normal on the storage platform so performance might still be impacted but should improve.

At this time parts of the platform experience severe performance degradation, resulting in high latency on disk reads and writes. This impacts performance of most customer virtual machines.
