During this maintenance we will perform a migration on one of our DWDM platforms which is mainly responsible for the transport of the AMS-IX ports from EvoSwitch to Nikhef.



All AMS-IX traffic will be rerouted to our core router in Telecity 2 during the maintenance. We don’t expect downtime, however during traffic switching there might be some higher latency and small packet loss.

AMS-IX announced the netmask change which will affect all the companies connected to this peering platform. We scheduled the maintenance for 18th January 2011 between 6:00 and 6:30 CET (UTC+1). During the maintenance some BGP sessions to our AMS-IX peers may be reset. There is no impact expected, however the network paths may change for a moment thus briefly you may notice slightly increased latency to some locations.

At the moment we experience some troubles in (part of) our network.



Due to a software issue on one of our High Volume routers we lost management of this router and we had to manually reboot the router.



We are doing our utmost to solve this issue a.s.a.p.

We decided to upgrade the software used by one of our high volume routers. The router will be rebooted and its downtime shouldn’t exceed 10-15 minutes. During the reboot customers with IP’s within the ranges below will have no connectivity.
