MS SQL server emergency maintenance

Duration: approx 15 minutes
Reason : emergency maintenance due to memory defect

Dear customer,

We have found a broken memory module on the Windows MS SQL server. We will replace this during this emergency maintenance. This is to prevent data corruption. The downtime will be approxmently 15 minutes.

ESY-SR1 router crash [Update]

Our router ESY-SR1 crashed because of software error.

There could be a short interruption in connectivity when the secondary router was taking over the traffic.

After 10 minutes the router went online again.

We think it was an IOS bug. We will add this router to be rebooted during the maintenance we have on Thursday early morning.

Primary routers maintenance

Dear customer,

During this maintenance we will upgrade the software of our primary routers. They usually carry most of the traffic, however before the maintenance we will reroute all the traffic onto the secondary routers. No downtime is expected, but during traffic switching there is possible temporary increased latency or changed network paths.

Before the maintenance we will do the check and if we find circuits with only one active uplink, we will contact the customer separately.

The maintenance will take place on 2010-7-8 between 6:00 and 7:30 CEST (GMT+2).

New software allows us to configure better redundancy protocols and in case of one router pair we will proceed also with a maintenance of our redundancy mechanisms, customers connected to these router may also see small temporary packet loss. Secondary routers maintenance

Enddate: July 1st 2010 07:30:00(CEST)

Dear customer,

We have decided to upgrade the software of our routers and we will start with the secondary ones. As they are only the backup routers their reboot should not have any impact on your services. Before the maintenance we will check each circuit and contact the customers who have only one uplink active to the secondary router.

This maintenance only concerns customers with premium services, high volume customers will not be affected at all.

The maintenance will take place at 2010-07-01 between 6:00 and 7:30 CEST (GMT+2). No impact is expected.
