Peering connections maintenance (Frankfurt, Brussel, Stockholm)

Dear customer,

Some of our European peering connections (the lines to Frankfurt, Brussel and Stockholm) will be taken under maintenance announced by the supplier of these circuits. Our connections to internet exchanges in the above cities may be down within this maintenance window.

The maintenance will start at 23:00 13-06-2009 and should end at 07:00 14-06-2009 (time zone is CEST).

No network problems are expected, traffic will be rerouted to other links, however during switching the network paths there may be a temporary increase of RTT or some smaller delays.

[SBP] PDU Maintenance [Update]

In de nacht van 3 en 4 juni zal er door SchubergPhilis onderhoud worden uitgevoerd in onze suite (1.41). Tijdens dit onderhoud zullen de Power Distribution Units (PDU) gecalibreerd worden. Als gevolg hiervan is het noodzakelijk om de spanning voor elke feed eenmalig te verbreken en zal uw apparatuur eenmalig van de stroom worden afgehaald.

Tijdens dit onderhoud zal LeaseWeb tevens onderhoud plegen in de suite ter voorbereiding van toekomstige stroommetingen.


Planning werkzaamheden:

Woensdag 3juni: Rijen A – H
Donderdag 4juni: Rijen K – S

De werkzaamheden starten om 04h00 en eindigen om ongeveer 08h00. Omstreeks 05h00 zal SchubergPhilis de power van de feeds afhalen. Omstreeks 06h00 zal de stroom weer bijgeschakeld worden.

Gedurende en na het onderhoud zijn er engineers van LeaseWeb aanwezig om u te ondersteunen bij eventuele problemen. Wij verzoeken iedereen zijn apparatuur uit te schakelen voor 05h00. Na het onderhoud doen onze engineers een visuele controle op alle apparatuur.

During this maintenance LeaseWeb will also perform maintenance in the suite in preparation of future power measurements.


Schedule maintenance:

Wednesday 3rd June: Rows A – H
Thursday 4th June: Rows K – S

The maintenance will commence at 04h00 and end at approx. 08h00. Around 05h00 SchubergPhilis will shutdown the power feeds. At approx. 06h00 the powerfeed will be reconnected.

During and after the maintenance window engineers will be on-site to support all customers. We advise all customers to shutdown their hardware before 05h00 cleanly. After the maintenance window our engineers will do a visual check on all servers.

Temporary problems with IP pool 62.212.64.0/19

Dear Customer,

At about 16:30 due to some internal network configuration issue, our internal monitoring system reported some servers being down, all these servers were within IP pool 62.212.64.0/19. These were false alarms, our external monitoring system indicated no problems and we had no traffic drop.
At the same moment AMS-IX had some traffic issues, so it was possible that part of our services was affected by traffic degradation at the AMS-IX, but it was completely separate issue.
