[20130214] AMS Telecity 2 core router maintenance

Dear Customer,

One of routers suppliers has announced a potential vulnerability in their software. The purpose of this maintenance is to upgrade the software to a recommended safe version that will guarantee continuity of our network.

Our second core router at EvoSwitch in Amsterdam will be fully operational during the maintenance and will be able to take over the whole traffic. There is no impact expected except small latency changes while alternate routing paths are chosen.

The maintenance will take place on 14th of February 2013 between 05:30 and 06:30 CET (UTC+1). It will affect our network in the Netherlands.

During the maintenance customers may experience total downtime or higher latency/packet loss. Although the maintenance window is scheduled for one hour, the downtime shouldn't exceed 15 minutes.

The maintenance will take place on 12th of February 2013 between 05:30 and 06:30 CET (UTC+1).

As part of our commitment to continually improve the level of service you receive from LeaseWeb we are undertaking this maintenance.

We will be moving the upstream links of the router for better connectivity.

The maintenance will take place between 5:00 and 7:00 CET (UTC+1) on the 6th of February 2013. We have planned the maintenance window for 2 hours, however the actual downtime of the router should not exceed an hour.

CLOUD platform maintenance

On Tuesday the 29th of January at 6.00 hours CET we are going to perform maintenance on our Cloud platform.
This migration will ensure more flexibility when optimizing performance and adding storage capacity.
We expect the maintenance to take up to 2 hours.
During this time certain instances will be paused. We have notified the owners of these instances separately. If you have not received a notification, the following actions will be unavailable during maintenance:
• Retrieving the status of your instance(s);
• Starting, stopping and rebooting your instance(s) via the Self Service Center.

[20130122] Network maintenance US facility *DATE UPDATE* [Update]

Dear LeaseWeb customer,

Please ignore previous maintenance announcements, the correct dates is listed in this announcement.

As part of our commitment to continually improve the level of service you receive from LeaseWeb we are undertaking this maintenance.

Your server has been recently moved to our new facility in Manassas, Virginia in the US. To finalize the structured cabling in our new facility we will need to perform this maintenance.
During the maintenance we will move all rack uplinks to a final patchrack solution.

All server racks have redundant uplinks. Each uplink comes from one meet me room. In each of the two maintenance windows we will re patch in one of the two meet me rooms.
On the 22th MMR-A and on the 23th MMR-B This means, per rack, one uplink will be disconnected and reconnected. The uplink from the other meet me room will remain online.

We expect minimal noticeable impact while traffic reconverges.

Day 1 of maintenance: 01/22/2013 Timeframe 06:00 to 08:00 EST

Day 2 of maintenance: 01/23/2013 Timeframe 06:00 to 08:00 EST

[NL CLOUD] Performance problems with storage platform [Update]

At the moment we experience performance issues on our cloud storage platform (NL site). Customers might experience performance issues on their VPS. We are currently working together with vendor to resolve those issues.

Evoswitch core router upgrade

Dear customer,

We have planned the maintenance on the core router at EvoSwitch in Amsterdam region. We will upgrade the software in order to fix a few bugs.

Our second core router at Telecity 2 in Amsterdam will be fully operational during the maintenance and will be able to take over the whole traffic. There should only be very short interruptions while alternate routing paths are chosen in the beginning and in the end of the maintenance.

The maintenance will take place between 5:00 and 8:00 CET (UTC+1) on the 22nd of Jan 2013. We have planned the maintenance window for 3 hours, however the actual downtime of the router should not exceed half an hour.

The maintenance will affect (by providing temporary alternate routing paths) the whole LeaseWeb network.
