Router is online again we are checking the logs what has caused the crash. When we have more information we will post it here.

We suspect a software problem caused the crash. We will investigate it in more detail and plan a maintenance if we need to upgrade the software.

Router software upgrade

Dear Customer,

We have scheduled a software upgrade of one router.
Six weeks ago we upgraded this router due to some possible bugs in network performance. The currently running version has a bug with memory leaks.
To resolve the memory leaks we will upgrade to a newer version IOS.

The reload of the router should take 5 to 10 minutes.

Core router crs-evo software upgrade

The reboot is required to upgrade installed software.

Before the reboot we will reroute all traffic to the core router at location Telecity.
No service impact is expected, however there might be a brief period of higher latency during the switchover.

Ring 1 maintenance

Dear Customer,

We have planned a maintenance at one of our rings. We will reboot all ring routers with a newer software. We will move our traffic to different links when needed, but temporary increased latencies or small packets losses may appear while traffic is rerouted onto other links.
Customers using Leaseweb mpls network with layer 2 data transmission between remote locations may see maximum twice downtime within the maintenance window up to 10 minutes each. That concerns also customers who recently were or still are under process of migration from Telecity2 to Evoswtich.
