[Global] Critical cross-site scripting vulnerability detected in WordPress [Update]

We would like to inform you about a critical cross-site scripting vulnerability detected in WordPress open-source blogging tool and content management system (CMS).

This vulnerability could allow an attacker to send a comment long enough to force the backend MySQL database to truncate what is stored.

We strongly advice you to push the latest update (WordPress 4.2.1) if you are running an older WordPress version.

[NL, AMS-01] Connectivity issues in part of our network

Today between 8:40-09:05 CEST we have experienced connectivity issues in part of our network in AMS-01 due to a BGP flapping session. Some customers might have experienced short connectivity interruptions or/and latency or/and packet loss during that time. [DE, FRA-10] Emergency line card replacement [Update]

We have experienced network issues in part of our network in FRA-10 due to a line card crash. Most of the traffic has taken alternative paths during the outage. Some customers might have experienced short connectivity interruptions or/and packet loss for up to 5 minutes.

We will perform an emergency maintenance on this redundant router in FRA-10 in order to replace the faulty line card and prevent future issues.

Updates will follow through this NOC posting.

[NL, DE] Connectivity issues in part of our network [Update]

Between 12:40 and 14:20 one of our links on our backbone infrastructure was blackholing traffic. Link was taken out of production and stability of the network has been restored. During the mentioned time interval, all customers in Netherlands and Germany could have been impacted. For connections passing via this specific link, targeted services were unavailable. This was one of our multiple connections between Netherlands and Germany. Your services could have been unavailable to some end customers that were using the specific link to connect to your services.

[NL] Performance degradation Virtual Server in the Netherlands [Update]

Dear LeaseWeb customer,

We encountered an unexpected issue on our storage platform, resulting in a performance degradation of your Virtual Server. Our engineers are investigating the cause of this issue, together with the supplier.

Please be assured that we will do our utmost to keep the impact as low as possible, but you might experience performance degradation or your virtual machine might end up in read-only state.

Our engineers are monitoring the platform for read-only virtual machines and will restore them to normal operations if needed. You can restore normal operations also by restarting your virtual machine via the Cloud dashboard in the LeaseWeb Self Service Center and additionally, perform a file system check (fsck) if needed.

We will update you again once we have more information.

[NL, AMS-11] Connectivity issues in part of our network

[NL] Connectivity issues to specific destinations

Dear Leaseweb Customer,

Between 12:20 and 13:25 your services might have been unreachable from specific destinations.
Due to multiple waves being impacted by a major fiber cut, a routing loop occurred within our network and traffic was blackholed.
Issue has identified and permanently fixed.
Part of the connections outgoing via DE-CIX have been affected.
All services in Netherlands might have been affected for traffic to specific destinations.
