Leaseweb server niet bereikbaar? Packet loss server problemen? DDoS? Check eerst hier of er mogelijk een Leaseweb storing gaande is. Probeer niet direct aanpassingen uit te voeren op de server, aan software code of onnodige reboots uit te voeren! Als het gaat om een individuele storing op jouw server of shared webhosting, kan het enkel het probleem verergeren.

Als duidelijk is dat het hoogstwaarschijnlijk enkel op jouw server zit, check dan met monitoring of er wellicht iets intern op de server fout gaat (zoals met htop). Het opnieuw opstarten van de server kan opzich geen kwaad binnen dit scenario. Mocht dat alles niet werken? Check dan altijd met Leaseweb helpdesk of er meer aan de hand is.

Leaseweb Germany Core Router reboot [Update]

During this maintenance window we will Power Cycle one of the Core Routers for Leaseweb Germany due to a possbile memory leak.
Due to redundant routers there should only be very short interruptions while alternate routing paths are chosen.
The maintenance will take place between 8:00 and 9:00 CEST (UTC+2) on the 22th of July 2011.

Ddos on shared webhosting [Update]

At the moment we experience some troubles in (part of) Linux Webhosting service.

Due to a dDOS attack, websites hosted on our server ‘95.211.13.70’ are currently

unavailable.

Mail platform maintenance

Linux webhosting maintenance

Dear customer,



Tuesday 5th of Juni we have our bi-weekly maintenance on our hosted systems. This time we update our linux systems.



Maintenance will be performed on:

– All servers within Linux webhosting, Gold, Bronze, Silver

– All servers for MySQL hosting

– All servers of the Mail platform



The services will be interrupted between 8:30 and 12:00 CET for short periods of time due to eventual reboots.



Shared hosting customers are using a fully managed shared platform. In order to guarantee best possible uptime and performance we have to do regular maintenance. We have pinned a fixed maintenance window each 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 08:30 till 12:00 CET. During these hours we perform updates and schedule maintenance including reboots resulting in short outages.



The 2nd Tuesday we will perform updates for our windows platforms only. (Webhosting, Hyper-V) The 4th Tuesday we perform updates for our linux-based platforms. (Webhosting, DNScaches, Mail, CDN)

Router blade crash

Reason: Hardware/software failure

Dear Customer,



One of the blades of our peering router in Frankfurt crashed. The crash was probably caused by a software bug. The blade rebooted and it is up again.

There could be possible temporary packet loss to some destinations. Most of the traffic was not affected.



We are investigating the cause of the crash.
